I feed my Uros juvenile iguana pellets they seem to like them you can hear them crunching away on them. I also give my uros endive, nappa cabbage, bok choy, mustard greens, frozen thawed veggie mix of corn carrots peas green beans, a little grated raw sweet potatoe or steamed and mashed, they get twice a week some cooked brown rice, split peas, lentils mixed. As for dandelions the blooms are a great treat and the leaves are good for the uros if they come out of your yard and you know your yard has not been sprayed for pesticides or chemicals then they are safe to feed just rinse them well before feeding, if you know they have been sprayed don't feed them. Doug Dix at Deer Fern Farms has a great caresheet from housing, to diet and anything else you need to know he is also a good one to email if you have any questions. Here is a link to the caresheet on his site.
