I emailed douglas from Deer Fern Farms about my gravid female and he said she is do any day now. He also said to give her a warm bath. So I gave her a warm bath with the male. After I dried them off and put them in the tank the female looked like she was having contractions. Her hole body would jerk forward. After 2 of these she ran as fast as she could to one of the nesting boxes. Right now I can hear her moving around in it. I am not going to open it because I dont want to disturb her. Do you think she is laying her eggs as I type? Yesterday she started digging holes in the nesting box. If she does lay her eggs, the incubator with vermiculite is waiting. The incubator has been on for over 48 hours so everything is set.
