Wooden or glass vivarium?

I'm going to get a leopard gecko this weekend (my first), and the shop where I'm going to get it only sells a wooden virarium (with glass doors in front). I rather want a glass one so I can see it alot better. Should I choose the glass one (obviously somewhere else) or just go with what the shop advises?
