I haven't found any rat snakes since I've moved here, but I think Texas rat snakes are somewhat common around here. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is supposed to be warm and you might try looking for stuff under boards, tin, rocks, or whatever else.

I may go out tomorrow to see what I can find...
