:I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be posting this, but I just moved to TX and was wondering where are the good places to go herping in the San Antonio area?

Generally speaking, NOT in San Antonio itself! :) Although the STHA does reptile rescues in town now and again (the odd copperhead, hognose, diamondback, etc).

I'm NE of town. I've found stuff around here (TX rats, plus I have 3 kinds of lizard on my house), but the best bet is to head SOUTH or WEST (my preferences).

Chris
