We had a flood last year and lost a couple of chams and SEVERAL eggs that were incubating. The insurace will not cover live animals, whether it is a catastrophic death or theft. At least not the major home insurers I have contacted. I would be interested to find someone who would.
Don't dogs cause more injuries than snakes?
