: I caught a baby snake in my garage today. It is about 10 inches long. Looking through a book it looks almost identical to both the texas rat juvenile photo, but also like the texas glossy. Is there any way to definitively tell the two apart? I am considering keeping it, and would like to know what I have. The only way I can see so far is the full grown size (3 ft vs 4-6), but do not want to wait that long, lol. I do already own a ball python and two bearded dragons, so have some familiarity with reptiles.
: Thanks for any help
: Christy
