Corpus Christi laws?

I have been told that my ball python is illegal in Corpus Christi. I can't find anything on it, but maybe I've just been looking in the wrong places. Does anyone know about this? Any good ideas for where to search would be welcome, in lieu of hard facts. Thanks.
