Texas requires a hunting license for the taking of reptiles and amphibians.
A non-game collectors permit is required for those residents of the state who possess more than 10 of a native species, or 25 total natives, or sell cb offspring.
A non-game dealers permit is required of anyone who buys for resale native species.
