Great! You will find that it will be eating EVERYTHING before you know it. They are excellent little turtles!
You might try some of the high quality frozen fish foods too like brine shrimp, daphnia, blood worms etc. Also, Hikari fish food for cichlids (in pellet form) are good. Remember though...variety is the key! Feed all of these items SPARINGLY.
It is also a good idea to feed your muddy in a seperate container. This allows you to keep the display tank cleaner and you can discard uneaten food before it spoils.
