These turtles (snappers/paints) can be "found" CB at the herp mall for around $5-10 dollars each. I have caught many of these turtles as hatchlings, but after I catch them I release them. How would you like it if you were taken out of your home and put in a tank, etc?
Good luck,
Jesse
: Hello, I have 10 baby red eared turtles, they are awesome, I keep them in 2, 55 gallon aquariums. I have half land, and half water wich works out great. There is also some salamanders and newts in the cage and in 1 of them are some frogs. I want to find some baby snappers, and baby painted turtles, I was wondering where the best place to look for them is, what time of day, sunny, or what. I know painted turtles you find in a pond, but all the turtles I have ever found were yelly bellied turtles, or red eared. Snappers can be found in creeks or where? Also, anyone have any info on salamanders or newts..like where to find them at, etc would be great... please e-mail me because I might not be able to see replys on this page. Thanks... kocur@mindspring.com
