I have strong reservations about using feeder insects from around the house; pesticides, fertilizers and who knows what else is in the house. You should get some live crickets from a pet store or bait shop, or go for some Can-o-crickets that are preserved crickets sold by Zoomed. Green Trees can easily be taught to take crickets from hemostats/tongs. Don't forget to dust them with a mineral/vitamin powder.
