uggh.....once again. No they don't have the same enviroment. Waxys do need that temperature and dryer air, but they also have rainy season and need a cooler side of the tank away from the heat. Waxys live in an area in south america....around paraguay called the gran chaco. This area is semi-tropical, semi-desert. It has large trees, shrubs, etc. And waxys don't need sand like leo geckos.
