Color of whites tree frog, abnormal?

my whites tree frog, i just got i have had for about a week. For this entire time he has been a redish brown color and has showed no signs of being green. Is this mean he is just really stressed or can this be a natural color for him? If you have anything else about this please tell me, thanks........frogger
