Hello all. I recently acquired my first ATB @ a recent reptile show. Not sure of the sex, but it is a garden phase and very tame(only nipped @ me a couple times). The person I bought him from was said he would only eat house geckos, so I would have to try to switch him over, which I thought I had successfully done last week when I got him to eat a pinky mouse scented w/ a house gecko. I tried to feed him again yesterday, but he ignores the pinky. The last time he ate the pinky, I had to kill the gecko and split it open and rub body juices all over the pinky for him to eat it. I would have no problem doing this every week if house geckos were'nt so expensive-$9 a pop!! Do any of you experienced ATB keepers have any tips/advise? I really want to get my boa on rodents soon. Thanks!
