Interesting! This ETB was acquired from an eviction?

Jeff, If the previous owner force fed then there may be some problems...Hard to tell...At least I am sure she would be stressed out about that, and therefore go off feed.

"We tried a live mouse to see what the response would be. She was in the feeding position but never took it."

If you've only had her a week I would give her time to settle. I have hand delivered emeralds across town and had them go off feed!!

"This is what information I gathered. The housing was correct but the bulbs were 150w which I beleive is way too hot."

!!Whoa That's way too hot!! I've never used more than 60W bulbs. I would suspect some dehydration for sure!!

"She has never tried to strike. But her head was off perch looking down."

Hard to say if that means anything

"She is showing interest in movement that is why I asked. I do not want to do anything to jeoperdize her well being."

That's a good sign! The former owner probably just didn't know how to feed her...thus he resorted to force feeding

"Thanks for the info"

No problem at all..I hope you get her going soon!!!
Please keep us updated!

John
