"Are they a fairly agressive species or could I tame it down over time?"
They are unpredictable really, I wouldn't say any of them can be really tamed reliably...One has to expect a few pinprick bites along the way!

"Are they a hard to take care of boa?"
They are fairly hardy if kept clean, warm, and well fed.

"I have'nt been able to find any care sheets on them"
Try corallus.com!

"Would I be better off getting them from a breeder?"
Yes Yes Yes! cbb babies generally look better, thrive better, and breed better in the long run. look for buying from breeders who bred their amazons from long term captive, planned matings, not those just reap babies from recent imports who came in gravid. Find a breeder who has taken the care to get their babies feeding well and through e few sheds before selling. If you are looking for garden phase. I think you should easily find some cbb babies for anywhere from around $35 to $95 each depending on coloration.
Good Luck!!
