They can be sexed just like any other snake. Young, old, popping, probing, whatever floats your boat. The risks are the same as for any other snake. The important thing to remember is that neos can be tricky to establish as consistant eaters. Most breeders don't want to do anything stressful to the animal that may cause a delay in this process. Besides, if they sell unsexed, why would a breeder want to assume this risk? Would you be willing to pay more for a sexed neo? Just curious.
