Check out the tortoise trust web site, it will tell you most of what you need to know.

You should have checked all this before you bought your Sulcata. Hope you do this in the future.

It is probably a good idea to take him to a herp vet in your area.

Check the tortoise trust web sight first. This will give you an idea if the vet you have chosen knows what they are doing.

: I bought a sulcata tortoise, but when I look it up on the computer it says African Spurred Tortoise. Is there a difference? Also what is the perfect environment for this tortoise? And diet? I read something about not giving them a rinse (bath). Something about them getting to much moisture. Why?
