We recently discovered a small tortoise walking through our front yard. I have posted signs hoping to find its owner. However, no word yet. I really want to give it the best care possible in the meantime, but I have no clue what kind of tortoise it is. I dont have access to a digital camera or a scanner, so I can't post a pic. I've searched numerous sites, and the descriptions seem to fit for either a Sulcata or a Mediterranean Spur-thighed tortoise. The tortoise in question has spurs behind its legs, next to the tail. If anyone is knowledgeable on these kinds of tortoises your help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks for your time!
