Thats great! sounds like one lucky tort to have found you before it was too late.

:many of you replyed to a post sometime back when I asked for help after I was given a male 9" sulcata that was raised from a hatchling in a 10 gallon bare tank set-up next to a window and fed romain and squash only as its principal diet. It was suffering from a rubbery shell and couldn't use its hind legs but had to drag itself around. I'm pleased to report that it is now doing well with its shell hardening and is walking about like he owns the place stutting on all fours. Thanks for the help. He's my first tortoise and turning out to be a great pet. Mike. p/s I'll post some pics in the next couple of weeks.
