Well, when I first started on the internet I was under the impression that everyone was on line.
I do about 5 to 8 presentations a year to various herp groups. Again, I carried my impressions into my talks with the assumption that everyone was on line. I come to find out that is not the case. While it is a big part of my life, the majority of the herpers (which includes chelonian types) are not that into it. A good number of people have never heard of Kingsnake.com. (it's true) So to tie up a point, the internet seems to reach a limited group. My experience covers the NE, SW, SE and the NW US and we aren't even looking at the rest of the world.
