I can see why they think this is a good idea. Have you seen most pet stores?

Unfortunately many of these shelters are run by animals rights oranizations such as the Animal Rescue League or the Humane Society. They have personal adgenas that go beyond caring for stray dogs and cats.

I agree that most pet stores are disgusting. Many of their animals are "cared" for improperly, if at all. I am ashamed to be invovled in the hobby at times.
