Well, I used to use it and was clued in to the fact that it has been shown in recent studies to be linked to actually contribute to pyramiding. It's for shine only really...just a soft brushing and regular soakings will keep the shell in good condition and looking nice...IMHO don't use it...not necessary and could be detrimental...
