If you wind up with two males, they will fight
something awful probably, and you'll have a
time keeping them seperately. With that age
kids, make sure they keep their feet to themselves
I don't trust kids not to "kick" at the tortoise,
I walk mine on the street regularly but don't
allow children to run up on us closely.
Keep your fingers out of the shell and you
shouldn't have any problems. Most sulcatas are
very friendly and outgoing, given time to acclimate
(get used to things first) and not stressed right
away.
