I have 4 older hatchling leopards and 2 subadults, and I have to say that each individual has it's own personality. 2 female hatchlings love the attention, they stretch out when you scratch their heads, trying to get you to rub the soft underneath of their necks. My other 2 male hatchlings are really rather lazy, and only react for food. Although they are very curious... when I'm in the yard working, they will all find a good high spot to watch and see what I'm up to. The revearse is true for my subadults. The male is very outgoing, while the female is shy.
The main thing to think about is what animal will be best suited for your climate. Leopards need dry heat whith lots of grass, weeds, & clover to graze on, while redfoots require a more humid environment. Basically, a sick pet doesn't have much of a personality.
