Hi,
Put them in a box with towels/hay/some other substate that they can burrow in and feel secure.
I take my torts to the vet in cat carriers because I can close the door and they can't climb out.
You can then seat belt them in or put in a secure place like in front of or behind your seat so the box/carrier doesn't slide around.
Be sure to watch the heat when you get out for rest stops and stuff.
