I initially purchased this trio for breeders but got so attached to them I really didn't care if they bred or not. Well I go look at them the other day and the female is digging her brains out! I keep a close eye on her and when she starts to cover them back up I go and remove the eggs. Well I get 5 eggs. Now the questions.
Is 5 a normal sized clutch?
Does it really take 200+ days for them to hatch?
Will she lay any more this year or do they only lay one clutch?
Thanks for any input.
Corey
