i am using two different brands of mercury vapor bulbs right now. the wild inside UV active heat has lasted 4 months w/out a problem while the T-Rex UV burned out after 28 days of use. since they are guaranteed for a year, i'm sending it back for replacement. we'll see how long the replacement last. i know others have posted better results with their T-Rex bulb, but i prefer the wild inside brand. you can find the wild inside UV active heat at www.beanfarm.com and the t-rex UV bulb at www.LLLReptile.com. good luck, tri
