: For an indoor cage Idea.
: I was thinking, a camping tent, its spacious solid, only 25-40 dollars, easy to move and has a minimum floor space of 6ftx4ft. they are relativly well ventilated, so I was wondering if this might be possible. I am thinking of using one for my 2 sulcata's. I thought it might be a good replacement for a 40gallon breeder that they are currently in. I know it sound's weird but it is relatively inexpensive, and easily movable. I was wondering if the sulcata owners out there might think this would work for a pair of 2.5 yr olds as an indoor enclosure. Any suggestions?
: just a thought,

Rick, that might work, but only temporarily. You need to understand that, even at only 2 1/2, these are powerful animals. Also very stubborn. If they get it into their head to go through the walls of the tent, they will. My wife and I made 2 foot by 4 foot plywood pens for ours until we could get them moved into their real pen. We filled the bottom with dirt, and made sure to seal the corners really well. A word of advice on wooden pens, though, if you make one, make it right. Use 1" thick plywood and 2x4's to hold it together. good luck
