Here, we do not judge by age, we judge by the level of knowledge and the level of ignorance... being that we all love torts here, we do not take kindly to people showing ignorance to their tortoises. It also includes listening and taking other points of view into consideration. Nobody here needed to think about if it was right or wrong to house different species together. When you take another life into your own hands, when you choose to buy that adroable baby tortoise, you are also accepting the responsibility to provide the BEST possible care for that animal. The people on this forum take that responsibility very seriously and look down upon anyone who thinks it is a joke or does not apply to them... Cat, by purchasing your tortoises, you are obligated to care for them to the best of your ability, and if your ability is not satisfactory, then you owe it to your pet to find them a new home that can. When you are knowledgable and financially ready to care for it properly, you can always get another. Just my bit of ramble.

You must accept that. When I first came on here I had already been taking care of my turtles your almost FIVE years. I thought I knew SO MUCH about turtles. WRONG!! I learned so many new things just by reading previous posts the first time I came on the box forum. And I'm STILL learning. I hope you stay and continue posting and asking questions. Not just for the tortoises, but so you can begin to learn things about turtles you don't even have and love turtles as much as us. I like being on this forum. But I am willing to listen and don't get all defensive when someone tells me I'm doing something wrong.
