Even so, we shouldn't be rude to her. She has good intentions and is trying to help others. If she says something that isn't correct, we'll correct her. In a polite manner. Let's nut run ANOTHER person off (wait maybe I'm thinking of the boxie forum). She actually has tortoises. She needs to be able to come to a group where she can ask any turtle related question she wants to. Let's help her out instead of making her feel stupid or unwanted so she doesn't go somewhere else. The people here are very intelligent and wise about the turtles they own. You can get no better advice than from people with experience.
Yes, I realize that she comes off to be a kid or younger person, and she doesn't seem to know a lot. But she is willing to research. She does need to listen to the people on here (i.e. Nathan/Terry) who are trying to tell her about hingebacks and (uh... forgot the other one) instead of believing she knows it all already. Cat*, you should always be open to other people's suggestions and or corrections. Especially people here. Let her become a part of this group. Now please people, let's stop being so rude.
