but that's what I use to fertilizer. I do not use the grass or allow my turtles to graze on it for at least a week after fertilizing. This is one topic is good or bad, only my experience. This is something that I'm very cautious about but without the fertilizer the grass dies and the tortoises cant graze. You can always go the natural route but it takes longer for the components to break down and be utilized by the grass but it is safer because of this.
