this is the email to him: how is that considered an albino? it's got dark eyes the shell just looks light, but not albino. maybe you have yourself a "ivory sulcata" but not a TRUE albino, i think most people would agree with me

: i'm assuming you didn't post your entire e-mail that you sent him. his response looks as if you claimed that a albino shouldn't have any color, or be in the form of all white. what about albino ball pythons? aren't they white and YELLOW? along with the other morphs being produced from albinos ball pythons, such as the caramel albino ball? there is not doubt that there ARE many forms of albinos, not just the albino forms being "created" through captive breeding but natural occurence albinos. Such as the "tremper" and "rainwater" albinos leopard geckos. Two different albinos, not genetically compatable. Recently a THIRD albino form the "bell" has came from the leopard gecko as will. If this tortoise has RED eyes, yes it could be a albino. if the eyes are black then it could likely be hypomelanistic or just a very light phased animal. having a picture of the animals pupils would answer alot of questions. i don't know if anyone was paying attention but the quality of bens picture compared to the one this man sent are not equal in no way. get a better picture of his tortoise and it might give you a different view of the this animal.
