no tortoise can do well year round indoors, and 4'x2' is half of what the minim space should be for these guys. A good idea to plan on an outdoor space of 4'x4' for each animal, and if your climate won't support year round outdoors, or the species doesn't hibernate, plan on having an indoor setup of equal size for the cold months.
