I don't know.
I guess it's a ego thing, everybody wants to claim that they have the first true albino sulcata.

Even on the Fifes web site they claim that the Ivory sulcatas are albino.

Others say that they aren't albino but hypomelanistic, it lacks the pink eyes.

So there are different opinons.

I guess this guy thought that he had the closest thing to an albino sulcata, which he probably did. Then came along the hatchling Ben has, with those red/pink eyes.

The Ivory tortoises are unique and beautiful, but shouldn't be refered to as true albinos, if they're not.
That honor should go to Bens little hatchling.

There's a bit of confusion on the whole subject really. On one web page it stated that the Ivory sulcatas hatched with red eyes. On another it says that the eyes weren't red at all.

It's all soooo confusing. EJ set us straight!
