Yes, you can inbreed and linebreed. This is how humans molded the wolf into the multitude of dog breeds that we have today. Breeding back to the parents "locks" the genes in. Breeding brother to sister will bring recessive genes such as albino (if the animal carries this gene) out into view. These breedings increase the likelyhood of "sports" being produced. These are genetic mutations of size color or shape. If you like the sport, inbreed the line to increase these genes. Brother/sister matings also sometimes downsizes the progeny. It is best to outcross on occasion to maintain integrety in the line.
: How closely related can torts be to be able to breed them. I mean can you breed back to the parents of the tort, can you breed torts from different clutchs but same parents together?
