I'm glad she made it overnight.
Infection is a major concern so I would give her that course of shots your vet prescibed.
Then do a follow-up and have her checked by the vet again to make sure that no infection has set in.I guess she'll need a few vet visits over the next couple of months.
Torts can be incredibly strong and surprise you, so best of luck.
Oh yes, you could put her on soft paper towels, probably more comfy than newspaper.
Thanks for the update, I've got my fingers crossed that she'll start to feel better soon.
