I bought two greek tortoise hatchlings at a reptile show this winter. They both eat the same diet, are in the same cage and are treated the exact same. They are growing at the same rate. One has a perfect smooth shell, the other is slightly pyramid. (Like the picture of the egyptian toroise picture by DaviDC below). Why? You would think they would both either pyramid or stay smooth. Any answers?
