It really depends on where you live. Leopards can not tolerate too much humidity, where as redfoots thrive in it. If a leopadr can fit your region, I recommend Richard Fife. I just recently bought a male South African leopard & a female Kenyan leopard tortoise from him. Both are in great health and hearty eaters. I got lucky in the fact that they are very obvious in their male/female characteristics. Usually you can sex leopards at about 6", but one common factor I've seen in my animals even as young as 1 year is the males are more oval shaped when viewed from above. The females are more rounded like a circle.
