Egyptian hatchling's eating habits

I have a 3 month old Egyptian hatchling & it seems he wont eat anything other than flowers. I've never seen him go for any greens but he will devour a clover or dandelion flower (& the green parts attached to it). He nibbled at a piece of Mazuri Tortoise chow once but didn't seem to care for it.

I've never had a tortoise that was this picky with what he eats & am starting to get a little concerned. Should I leave him alone & find something else to worry about?
