Ted is multi-climate trained, even exploring the
snow on a nice sunny winter day (yeah, it's kinda
a staged setting and yeah, he took off right into
it full force and after a few seconds I took him
OUT of it, I know it's a bad example for all the
hatchling owners out there yada yada yada) :)
Like I said in my other post, you gotta be careful
they don't have the advantages of having a deep
burrow here, even with full shade it can get
intense, there's just some days he WANTS to come
inside, I think both of us are tuned into our
Sulcatas pretty well. You know Teddy likes splashing
in the mud also, just don't have that much of the
yard fenced for him yet (again, examples, people
might be putting their torts out in small pens
and thinking it's OK, cause Tofu's in a big one
and has more variety or Teddy's in one that's
200sq. feet and it's OK, etc...)
It's looking like the folks next door will be moving
in in a few weeks and the yards will be finished
(finally, been a YEAR almost), then I'll check into
fencing more, still working on the new indoor thing
for next fall, and such. take care, pat on the
head for Tofu, niki
