There have been a few days of 100 plus and 96 plus
days, with the high humidity here, it's boiling.
There's simply no place outside to really cool
down to 70 degrees or close to that, during the
worst of it between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. if it's
super hot, I bring him in, and he chooses to go
into his travel box to sleep or goes into the
bathroom to rest. If he chooses to go back outside,
out he goes, but he doesn't, therefore I think he
appreciates the opportunity to cool down for a while.
Shade or no shade, the air is HOT, this was the
case at our old house even with full shade from
large trees, and at this house with no big trees,
his house is too hot, and the hibiscus bushes
don't provide enough cover and like I said the
air is terribly hot and humid.
A few degrees make a big difference, today was
"only" 92 and he stayed out all day, less humid
also. It's only a handful of days a year that he
comes in from the heat, though I know others that
bring their's in also in AZ or TX.
