soaking..

Baby torts need to stay highdrayded, they can have very seious health problems fi they dont have enough water.
I always soaked mine when they were really little and they never semed to drink it. ever. they did decide to go to the bathroom in the water however. That was kind of nice because i would just wash it down right away. now, on the other hand, it is a little harder! My two are much bigger now and they drink when ever i soak them.

I know it is not recomended a lot, but if you are really concerned and as a last resort, give him a piece of good old head lettuce or cucumber, not alot, just a little bit. That kind of food is not recomended because of the high water/ low nutient value but in a pinch one slice or one leaf will give them a little extra H 2 0 if you are very worried. I honestly do not know if they absorb water through there skin, but i bet Terry and EJ and the rest will know!
