Lisa ,it was very hard.
I turned down 5 offers here in AZ and waited until the exact right home came up.
Their new owners will be using them to educate people about the pros and cons of keeping sulcatas.
And they will not be producing more offspring , to add to the thousands of sulcatas hatched and sold each year.
Hoku is doing very well, back outdoors now in his own enclosure.
Which is Angel and Bubbas enclosure made a bit smaller.

His growth is a bit distorted due to his injuries and being indoors for so long.
I think that the distorted growth is due to the carapace damage.
The slight pyramiding, to being indoors with lack of sun and exercise.

He'll be going back to the vet soon to have the patch removed again and checked.

But unless we move to a larger property Hoku will need a new home at some point.
I'm not in any hurry to rehome him and we're already looking into buying a larger house, with a larger yard.

Apart from that, he's doing just fine. And seems very happy to be back outdoors.

Angel and Bubbas new keepers will be emaling me with an update as soon as the torts are settled in.
