adoption may be an option. One thing I like about a newling, is knowing what goes into it from day one. I've always really enjoyed each of my pets growing up. We'll see when the time gets closer, as i still have some month or months to go, depending on how long it takes to get the fencing and all put in. I know they also want to have photos of your setup before they consider you, which means setting it up ahead of time... kind of a catch 22, since you don't know it's size or special concerns.
this building and moving thing is taxing. I can't wait till I can sit in my yard and relax watching the animals. I'm hoping to have most of the landscaping into the "eden" so next spring will have a giant crazy bloom. It should be livable for the turtles soon, but of course the fun part is adding all the 'pretty" things for my wife and I to enjoy (as well as feed the turtles from)
