Species name is always helpful. If it's a Burmese mountain tortoise it must be throughly de wormed. Bring a stool sample to a reptile vet and have them start the process. They always carry very heavy parasite loads. Where did you get the tort - a pet shop? If wild captured
they are difficult to establish due to the many different parasites they come in with.
The symptom of the eyes shutting is not good. Please don't assume it's merely an eye infection, rather a sign that he's probably very sick and this is how it's finally showing up.

: hi i need help to find out whats going on with my little asian green tortoise.past few days one of his eye begin to shut. two days later the other eye became shut too. he seems to have difficulty in opening them. i'm worried that he might not be able to eat.does tortoises have eye infections.if so what can i do to cure it.please help.thanks a million!!
