Hi;
If your Star's have runny nose they will need to be treated. Ceftazidene or Amikacin
is preferred for Stars over Baytril. Get them to your vet - if you have a tortoise vet in Singapore. Otherwise ask a regular vet to find these med's for you.
Their diet should be comprised mainly of grasses and broad leafed weeds. Beans are way to high in protein, regular lettuce is a poor choise also. Try , if you have it there, Collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens. Banana fronds are good - not the fruit though! Generally stars need a high fiber low protein diet. Any amount of fruit, tomatoes, etc. can cause major long term problems.
HTH,
Erich

: Thanks for the information. But I don't feed them just tomatoes alone. It's always a mixture of cherry tomatoes with US lettuces or long beans. It is not easy to find supplements for tortoises in Singapore. I wonder if I can buy them the multi-vit for cats and dogs? My poor star torts have been suffering from running nose for quite a while. I am desperate to try anything in order to cure them.
