Tim, at least you are doing your best to make sure that anyone who buys one of the torts knows how to care for it. It's a shame that Petco couldn't even be bothered to find the correct info. No we cant send them back to Africa, all we can do is check up on them and get the correct care info to this uncaring company.Hopefully there are more people like you around :o)

haven't seen any spur-thighs, but I did see copies of the Tortoise Trust care sheet that I gave them on top of the Leopard's tank. They even took the color copy and taped it to the side of the tank to cover up the "bad info" on their sticker. I noticed one animal had very bad runny eyes that he would not open. I opened one of the turtle/tortoise books and showed them the section on what to do, and they set up a quaranteen right them. I hope things turn out alright.... (fingers crossed) I hope they get good homes, after all... what are we supposed to do? Send them back to Africa?
