Hey, you also need a UVB light such as a ReptiSun 5.0 bulb in addition to your 100w heat bulb...UVB lighting needs to be on for about 12 hours per day during the day...no higher than 12" from the top of the carapace...and it is a fluorescent light, not to be confused with the heat bulb.
